Lawn Care Program
The Fertilization Specialist Lawn Care Program is designed specifically for North Central Texas soils and grass types. This lawn care program provides both micro and macro nutrients with timely weed control applications through the season. Each lawn is inspected for weeds, diseases, surface feeding insects and proper maintenance techniques. We help each customer get the most out of this eight step lawn care program by providing personalized, excellent customer service.

ROUND 1
The first application applied to the lawn will be a pre-emergent. This will help control both broadleaf and grassy winter weeds. Existing broadleaf weeds will be treated with a post-emergent herbicide.

ROUND 2
A granular fertilizer with potassium, magnesium and sulphur will be applied. This will stimulate the root system, help the lawn come out of dormancy and enhance color. Broadleaf weeds will be treated with a post-emergent  herbicide as needed.

ROUND 3
A slow release granular fertilizer with micro and macronutrients will be applied to the lawn. This will green up the lawn and prepare for summer conditions. Both broadleaf and grassy weeds will be treated with a post-emergent herbicide as needed.

ROUND 4
A balanced granular and/or liquid slow release fertilizer will be applied to the lawn. This will help thicken the root system and maintain color. Both broadleaf and grassy weeds will be treated with a post-emergent herbicide as needed.

ROUND 5
A balanced granular and/or liquid slow release fertilizer will be applied to the lawn. The lawn will be inspected for surface feeding insects and disease problems. Both broadleaf and grassy weeds will be treated with a post-emergent herbicide as needed.

ROUND 6
A balanced slow release granular fertilizer with a pre-emergent will be applied to help control cool season grassy and broadleaf weeds. Grassy and broadleaf weeds will be treated with a post emergent herbicide as needed.

ROUND 7
A soil amendment fertilizer will be applied to the lawn. This will improve the soil structure and prepare the lawn for winter conditions. We also spot treat existing broadleaf weeds with a post-emergent herbicide as needed.

ROUND 8
A liquid pre-emergent application will be applied to the lawn. This will help control winter grassy and broadleaf weeds. Existing weeds will be treated with a post-emergent herbicide as needed.
